The second flight of the government airbus crewed by the State Aviation Operator Tuesday brought back 80 Bulgarian nationals from Lebanon, caretaker Minister of Transport and Communications Krasimira Stoyanova said as she welcomed the second evacuation flight from Beirut at Sofia Airport on Tuesday evening. Minister Stoyanova pointed out that at this stage there is no information that more Bulgarians have expressed their wish to return to Bulgaria.
The situation is extremely dynamic and very risky. Just a few minutes after our flight took off, an air attack was launched. The government will do whatever necessary and find all possible options so that Bulgarians and their families are back in Bulgaria and are safe, Stoyanova added.
