On the occasion of Bulgaria’s Unification Day, the Niagara Falls in North America will be illuminated on September 5 in the colours of the Bulgarian flag, the Consulate General of Bulgaria in Toronto, which is the initiator of the light show, reported.
The Consulate’s invitation reads: "Dear compatriots, on the initiative of the Consulate General of Bulgaria in Toronto and thanks to municipal continuity in the City of Niagara Falls and Niagara Park, Niagara Falls will once again be illuminated in white, green and red on September 5, 2024 (Thursday) at 10.00 p.m. local time. Come and celebrate together the Unification Day of the Principality of Bulgaria and Eastern Rumelia."
Anyone unable to watch the light show live would be able to watch it through the Consulate General’s profiles in Facebook and Instagram.
