There is something in the start of this National Assembly that is different from the others – the will for talks, Movement for Rights and Freedoms leader Mustafa Karadayi told the media on Thursday.
Representatives of the MRF and GERB discussed different political configurations in this National Assembly and the options for forming a majority to elect a regular cabinet to find a way out of the political crisis.
There are talks, this is good, and it should be taken into account: we have always been open for dialogue, Karadayi further said. The first two political forces in this parliament can form a majority, the MRF chairman added. He singled out the judicial reform as one of the pririties to be addressed.
We said told GERB that for judicial reform we need a constitutional majority to adopt constitutional changes, Karadayi added. At the meeting, the MRF expressed the opinion that Euro-Atlantic formations, based on values and principles, can form a constitutional majority. He specified that the MRF also envisages meetings with all parliamentary formations.
According to Karadayi, appointing the Chair of Parliament on a rotational basis is not a serious approach. The idea was launched on Wednesday by co-chair of Continue the Change Assen Vassilev.
