Athletes from five countries will take part in the Juleta Shishmanova international rhythmic gymnastics competition, which will take place between August 19 and 21 in Burgas.
Gymnasts from Portugal, Ukraine, Germany, Estonia and Bulgaria will compete for the medals in the following categories: children under 10, junior, senior, women.
Within the framework of the competition, Bulgaria’s national team by individual gymnasts and ensemble will make a demonstration. They will represent Bulgaria at the World Championships in Sofia between September 14 and 18 at Arena Armeec Hall. The team will perform at the Mladost sports hall on Friday and Saturday.
On the second day coaches will receive honours to mark the 70th anniversary of rhythmic gymnastics in Bulgaria.
Rossina Atanassova, who is Secretary General of the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, will be main judge.
