The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 1,286,107 after 4,225 tests identified 252 new infections on Friday, of which 63.49% were of unvaccinated persons, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/.
The active cases are 6,773. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 453, including 50 in intensive care. Of the 44 new hospital admissions, 72.73% were not vaccinated.
Another 621 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 1,241,314.
Five fatalities was reported (100.00% unvaccinated), and the death toll now adds up to 38,020.
With 702 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 4,593,788 vaccine doses have been administered so far.
