Bulgarian winter tourism just had its best season on record, President Rumen Radev said here Friday. He was speaking at the opening of the Mountain Medicine Academy programme at Sofia’s Lozenets Hospital.
The growth of business in the winter resorts this year compared to last year is 24% and compared to 2019-20 is 9%. „Bulgaria can establish itself as a good and reliable tourist destination for winter sports and winter tourism, if there is a reliable system set in place to ensure tourists’ safety and health,“ said the head of State.
