Bulgarian Society – South Island New Zealand will take part in Selwyn CultureFest, which will take place at Lincoln Event Centre on September 15, 2024, the Society reported on its Facebook page on August 18. Guests of the event will have the opportunity to taste samples of Bulgaria’s traditional cuisine, to purchase Bulgarian souvenirs and to get acquainted with the national culture.
A guiding goal of the Society is to unite Bulgarians and their descendants living in the region, giving them the opportunity to preserve Bulgarian history and to expand their knowledge of Bulgarian culture, folklore and art.
