Between January and June, 268 alerts about conflict of interest and incompatibility were received, said Thursday the acting chairman of the counter-corruption commission Anton Slavchev. He presented a report on the activities of the commission and a report on the budget implementation the period from January to June before the MPs of the parliamentary committee on prevention and counteraction of corruption
In the same period, the Commission adopted 391 decisions, more than the number of alerts, because it also met on signals received in the previous period. Of these 391 decisions, 106 decisions were to initiate conflict of interest proceedings, nine of which also had evidence of incompatibility. Some 110 decisions established absence of a conflict of interest, and 27 decisions concerned only evidence of incompatibility, Slavchev said.
